Speech and Language Therapy: Have you ever heard that most children who have sound misarticulation or speech problems are being bullied by their peers or neighboring or have schooling participation challenges, these difficulties affect their emotions that result in psychological distresses. For this reason many children abandon schools being afraid of getting abused by their peer or\and stay away from playing with neighboring children and this eventually leads to their isolation.
After being assessed, it showed that many reasons behind this problem is the neglect, abuse and violation of the child by their parents\caregiver. Gashbun is provided in the individual sessions, a speech and language training for children who have speech problem like articulation of some sound, stammer or speaking disorder.
This service is provided in Gashbun center in Domiz1 camp and Bardarash camp for Syrian refugee as a service of child protection approach. the child is engaged into individual sessions then he\she is integrated with other children in recreational activities. This service also urges their parents also to support their children as the parents\caregivers participate in training sessions how to practice the exercise at home as home work.
