As a part of Child Protection CP, Gashbon Organization is implementing the project in providing services to children with special needs CWSN
Gashbun is working in partnership with The Lotus Flower TLF funded by UNHCR in 2023 at Domiz1&2, Domiz urban, Bardarash and Gawilan camp as mobile team for Syrian refugees on (child protection) providing services to children with special need.
Gashbon is providing Physiotherapy for the children who have physical Therapy, psychotherapy individual and group sessions for the children who have psychological disorders, speech problems, learning difficulties and other psychological distresses, Gashbon is also providing Autism rehabilitation training sessions for the children with Autism who have autism symptoms.
Gashbon conducts case management for the children at risk in addition to referral pathway to other actors like medical services, education actors and other humanitarian agencies.
In this project Gashbon conducts the distribution of disability assistive devices like wheelchairs, crutches, diapers, hearing devices, medical eye glasses, diapers, leg and hand supporter in addition to other devices.
There is also awareness raising campaigns for community members and parents\caregivers and also there is capacity building for service providers including government and humanitarian employees, the topics of the the awareness and capacity building are child protection including children with special needs.
